Thanks for visiting my site. My interest in photography began when I was given a brownie box camera as a kid. Many years later I "graduated" to a Nikon F3 and learned how to control exposure, composition, focus and depth of field using manual controls and slide film. A couple of years ago I made the move to digital.

After spending a few years as a fly fishing guide, I made the decision to spend more time behind the camera. My home base is the Lower Laguna Madre in deep South Texas. This is known as a world class spotted sea trout and red drum sight fishing location and is also home to the World Birding Center and several refuges. These locations boast high numbers of different species of birds, some found nowhere else in the United States. In other words, a photographer's paradise.
